    The file is created in the requester’s own storage with the requester’s own token, and it is deleted if the share fails. A swallowed share error returns a link that 404s while the data sits orphaned.

    Allow-listed enumerations, range-checked scores, capped arrays, and a server-validated bulk write. Anything that fails validation is dropped rather than stored, with a validation rule as the backstop.

    An agent was dead for three weeks. A model name had been baked into a serialized object at deploy time, and no alert existed to say it had stopped.

05How it works

Enrol, learn, sit the assessment, hold the certificate

Four steps. The third one is the one that matters, because the assessment is what awards the credential.

  1. Enrol

    Buy a course, or take a seat your employer assigned you. You enrol into a course version, so an author adding a lesson next month does not move you mid-course.

    Video, reading, labs and quizzes, alongside any SCORM package we or your own team authored. Progress is counted server-side, per lesson, and recounted rather than incremented.

  3. Sit the assessment

    The certificate needs 70% on the final assessment, scored on our servers, and the capstone passed. Distinction: 90%. The answer key never leaves our servers, and module quizzes are practice that does not count.

    The passing assessment issues the credential. Finishing the lessons does not, and a completion flag reported by a SCORM package never does, because a browser asserts that and any learner can change it.

06The credential

A ShareCo certificate is not a Salesforce certification

It says what you were assessed on, and it names the official exam to sit next. The credential is worth more for being honest about its scope.

  • Issued by a server-scored assessment. Never by finishing lessons, and never by a completion flag inside a SCORM package.
  • States the hours, the curriculum version, and how it was assessed, because the person reading it is a hiring manager rather than you.
  • Carries a credential code and a public verification page that repeats all three.
  • Names the official Salesforce exam to sit next, on the certificate itself.

Seats live in our database and the payment record never gates access, so a purchase order and a card buy exactly the same thing.
