Ship Salesforce changes with an AI agent and keep production safe. You will retrieve, change and deploy metadata with targeted tests, write Apex triggers and Lightning Web Components with Claude Code, run parallel features in worktrees, and judge an agent's claim of done against evidence.

Written for: Salesforce administrators moving into development, and developers or consultants at Salesforce partners who want a disciplined agentic workflow.

01What you will learn

6 capabilities, stated as things you can do

Each one is what you should be able to do at the end, not what the course covers. If an outcome is not testable, it is not an outcome.

  1. Deploy metadata from source with RunSpecifiedTests, validating with a dry run before every production deploy.
  2. Debug a defect with anonymous Apex and SOQL without changing data.
  3. Implement a trigger with a handler class and tests that cover permitted and denied users.
  4. Build a Lightning Web Component with an agent and test it with Jest.
  5. Orchestrate parallel agent work with git worktrees and subagents without the changes colliding.
  6. Evaluate an agent's claim that work is done against tests, verification as the real user and a change log.

What the lessons look like

Figures from this course, and screens from the lesson player. One lesson is free to try with an account. The rest open when you buy, because the graded labs are the course.

The lesson player

  • The lesson player showing a module overview: the outcome it serves, the graded lab and check it contains, and its lessons with their lengths.

A module opens with what you will be able to do, what you will build, and how long each lesson takes. From SC-101.

  • The lesson player on a graded screen task: a Salesforce Setup page for a fictional practice org, with the instruction to click the field that shows the org is a Developer Edition.

One step per screen. Here a graded task asks you to find the right field on a Setup page. The practice org is fictional. From SC-101.

Figures from the lessons

  • sf apex run sends the script to the org, where it runs as you inside one transaction. Queries and debug lines run under governor limits. If the script reaches its last line, every DML statement commits. If an unhandled exception escapes, the whole transaction rolls back, including enqueued jobs and emails.

    One anonymous Apex transaction

  • Approving a change request fires the existing trigger and handler, which call ChangeRequestInvoicing to insert one Draft Invoice__c in user mode. projectInvoiceCard on the Project page reads invoices through the cacheable, user-mode ProjectInvoiceController. Tests and a Change_Log__c record sit beside the work.

    Capstone: invoice a change request

  • Retrieve the components by name, edit them on disk, deploy only what changed with the tests that cover it, verify as the affected user, then start the next change with a fresh retrieve.
