How to Save a LinkedIn Profile to Salesforce in One Click

A practical walkthrough to connect Salesforce, enrich contact data, and save from LinkedIn without manual CRM entry.

February 17, 2026

Most teams lose hours every week on manual CRM updates. SalesSync removes that overhead by letting reps capture and enrich profiles from LinkedIn without leaving the page.

1. Connect Salesforce

Open your ShareCo dashboard, go to Settings, and click Connect Salesforce.
Once connected, SalesSync can check for duplicates and write to the right Salesforce object.

2. Install the Chrome Extension

Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store and sign in with your ShareCo account.

After install, open a LinkedIn profile and click the ShareCo toggle button to open the sidebar.

3. Enrich Before Save

Use enrichment to fill in missing contact data:

  • Email enrichment for direct outreach
  • Phone enrichment for call workflows
  • Automatic caching on repeat profiles

If enrichment is running, you can continue browsing. The extension tracks the job in the background.

4. Choose Contact or Lead

Switch between Contact and Lead in the sidebar before saving.
Your enriched data stays in place, so you can choose the correct Salesforce object without re-enriching.

5. Save to Salesforce

Click Save to Salesforce to create or update the record.

SalesSync also links the profile to the right account where possible and keeps your enrichment history visible in the dashboard for reporting and export.

What to Do Next

If you are rolling out SalesSync to a team, start with one rep, measure saved time after a week, then standardize the workflow across your org.
